Renew Chiropractic serves Bothell residents from our office in nearby Kirkland—just a short drive south on I-405. We see chiropractic as something that goes well beyond the spine. It’s about how your nervous system communicates with every part of your body.
Our approach uses natural, hands-on methods to help with tension, stiffness, and discomfort—whether it showed up yesterday or has been building for years.
Dr. Emily Anderson grew up in North Kirkland and studied Medical Anthropology and Global Health at the University of Washington. She dealt with chronic sciatica as a teenager, and that experience shaped her entire career path—she saw firsthand what chiropractic could do when other approaches fell short.
She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2023 and is trained in the McKenzie Method, cupping, scraping (IASTM), nerve mobility techniques, and the Activator Method. She is currently pursuing her Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician credential (expected Fall 2026).
Her patients range from newborns to seniors. Whether you’re a desk worker with stubborn neck pain or a weekend athlete recovering from a tweak, she meets you where you are.
Chiropractic care improves joint movement and flexibility so your body can function the way it’s designed to. When joints move well, your nervous system sends clearer signals—which means better coordination, fewer compensations, and less pain.
Over time, your body develops patterns to work around restrictions. Chiropractic addresses those compensation patterns directly, helping restore balance rather than just masking discomfort.
Every adjustment is personalized. Dr. Anderson uses a range of techniques—from manual adjustments to instrument-assisted methods—tailored to your comfort level and what your body needs that day.
Hours at a desk or on a phone take a toll. We provide ergonomic guidance alongside care that addresses the tension patterns screen time creates—tech neck, rounded shoulders, and upper back stiffness.
After an injury, your body often gets stuck in protective movement patterns that outlast the original problem. Chiropractic helps restore full range of motion and break those stuck patterns so healing can complete.
Chronic pain often involves a nervous system that’s stuck in a heightened state. Our approach focuses on calming that system down—not just chasing symptoms—so your body can function with less guarding and more ease.

Chiropractic focuses on joint mobility and the nervous system. Massage targets muscle tension. Physical therapy emphasizes movement retraining and strengthening. They complement each other well, but chiropractic addresses the structural and neurological patterns that often underlie recurring pain.
