You know the feeling when your body just isn’t aligned right. Maybe it’s been lingering for weeks, or even longer. That tension in your neck, that shift in your hips, or heaviness in your lower back. Some days you can ignore it. Other days, it affects your sleep, mood, and daily activities. At Renew Chiropractic, we provide chiropractic care to restore your body naturally and gently.

Meet Dr. Anderson

Dr. Emily Anderson grew up in Kirkland, so she understands the local community deeply. With a degree in Global Health and Medical Anthropology from the University of Washington, she has an understanding of how people experience healing worldwide.

Her own experience with intense sciatic pain in her teens led her to chiropractic care. The relief and transformation she experienced inspired her to pursue chiropractic school and return to Kirkland to serve the community. Dr. Anderson’s approach combines gentle spinal adjustments, soft tissue work, digital x-ray, and the McKenzie Method. She is also in the process of completing her advanced certification in sports chiropractic.

Every patient is treated as a whole person, not just a case. Her care goes beyond structure—it’s about how you feel in your body.

What makes our chiropractic care different

We aren’t a high-volume clinic. You won’t feel rushed or shuffled through repetitive processes. Our individualized approach to care is tailored for real people managing daily responsibilities and stress.

Whether you’re a new mom reconnecting with your body, a desk worker noticing shoulder tension, or you’re recovering from a lingering injury, every plan is personalized. Patients often say it feels different here—it feels like being truly heard.

Why Chiropractic Can Help More Than You Think

Chiropractic care isn’t just about pain relief—it’s about helping your whole body function better. Your spine is the highway that your spinal cord travels between your brain and the rest of your body. When spinal joints stop moving correctly, other parts of your body compensate, often causing headaches, neck tension, fatigue, or even digestive issues.

With chiropractic services at Renew Chiropractic, we gently unlock restricted joints, improve nervous system function, and restore balance. Over time, patients notice better posture, improved sleep, enhanced energy, and easier movement.

Even if you don’t have pain, chiropractic visits can help you prevent injuries, optimize your athletic performance, and maintain overall wellness. Regular chiropractic care supports a healthy spine, reduces stress on muscles and joints, and helps your body respond more efficiently to daily life.

Whether you’re an office worker, athlete, or just someone who wants to feel more like themselves, our approach ensures personalized, effective care. We combine spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and movement coaching to help you move better, feel better, and live better.

What a Visit Feels Like

  • You walk in and it feels calm. You are not handed forms and asked to explain ten years of pain in two sentences. You are met with curiosity, and kindness, and questions that feel thoughtful.
  • The first appointment is a big conversation. Then movement testing. Posture checks. Maybe imaging if it’s needed. Most of the time, you will leave that first visit already feeling lighter, even if the adjustment felt gentle.
  • Follow-ups are relaxed. You get the care you need without rushing or confusing medical jargon. Our chiropractic care ensures quality treatment for every patient.

Real Words from Real People

Questions Patients in Kirkland Often Ask

Can chiropractic help if I sit all day for work?+
Yes. Many patients in Kirkland spend long hours at desks. Our care resets your posture and provides realistic, practical tips between visits.
Do you work with patients who are active or athletic?+
Yes. Dr. Anderson has advanced training in working with runners, dancers, and people recovering from sports-related injuries. Whether you are training for a local race or just want to return to yoga without pain, we can support that journey.
Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?+
Absolutely. Many pregnant women come to us for gentle relief from hip discomfort, low back pain, or general tension. We use specific table positioning and techniques designed for pregnancy and create a care plan that works with your body, not against it.
What if I don’t want my back cracked?+
Preferences are more than allowed—they are encouraged! Dr. Anderson uses a combination of 15 adjusting techniques with the goal of having an approach for everyone. One of her most effective techniques is Instrument Adjusting, no pops, cracks, or heavy handedness. We decide together which technique works best for you.
Do you take patients looking for natural care instead of medication?+
Yes. While we always recommend staying in touch with your primary provider, many of our patients come here seeking a different kind of support. Chiropractic care often reduces the need for pain medication by addressing the actual cause rather than just the symptom.
