Many of the older adults we see have heard the same message for years. That aging means accepting stiffness. That mobility naturally declines. That medications are the only answer for joint pain. At Renew Chiropractic, we know the real benefits of chiropractic care for seniors go far beyond pain relief. From help with stiffness and joint pain to improving mobility, our goal is to restore balance and confidence.

Dr. Emily Anderson, DC

Meet Dr. Emily Anderson

Dr. Anderson experienced sciatic pain in her early teens that led her to chiropractic care. She earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College and studied Medical Anthropology and Global Health at the University of Washington.

She is trained in low-force adjusting techniques, soft tissue therapy, and movement-based rehabilitation. She is also completing advanced certification in sports chiropractic, which adds even more depth to how she supports aging joints and active seniors alike.

Her approach is gentle. Her care is individualized.

You Don’t Need to Live With Pain Just Because You’ve Been Told It’s Normal

Dr. Anderson has built a space where seniors are treated with softness and respect. Where no one is rushed. And where each person’s history is honored.

What Senior Chiropractic Looks Like Here

There are no fast movements. No loud adjustments. No rushed visits.

Dr. Anderson understands what it means for a body to adapt over years. She takes the time to listen to your stories, to consider your surgeries, your health conditions, and your limitations. And she builds care around all of it.

Treatment techniques include soft tissue work, low-force spinal adjustments, mobility support, and posture guidance. Every session is designed around your comfort level and your goals for better movement.

Many patients find that the work is relaxing. It helps them breathe more deeply.

This Care Is for More Than Just Pain Relief

What often surprises people is how much better they feel beyond just pain reduction. When the spine and nervous system begin working more fluidly, sleep tends to improve. Breathing becomes easier. Digestion feels smoother. Balance returns.

We have seen people go from walking hesitantly to moving more freely. We have had patients tell us they no longer dread getting out of bed.

Chiropractic care for seniors supports back and neck health, chronic pain relief, and overall geriatric spinal wellness designed for long-term health.

A Place Where You Are Truly Heard

This office does not run on clocks. It runs on presence. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted like family. There are no bright lights or loud music. Just a calm space and a caring provider who takes the time to meet you where you are.

You will never be told what to do. You will be invited into a conversation about what is possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is chiropractic care safe for seniors?+
Yes. We work specifically with older adults and tailor everything to your comfort level. The adjustments are gentle, often low-force, and always adapted to your mobility and health history. Many patients find this care feels more like relaxation than treatment.
I’ve had joint replacements. Can I still get care?+
Yes. We regularly care for patients with knee, hip, and shoulder replacements. We treat those areas safely and focus on supporting surrounding joints and tissues to help restore better balance and function. Everything is explained clearly and nothing is ever done without your full consent.
Can chiropractic help with balance or walking stability?+
It can. Many people don’t realize how connected spinal movement is to coordination and balance. By improving posture, alignment, and nerve communication, we often see significant improvements in how confidently patients can walk and stand.

Kirkland Seniors Deserve This Kind of Support

We know Kirkland. We know the rhythm of this place. The pace of the mornings. The steep sidewalks. The way the seasons pull people outside, even when the joints don’t want to cooperate.

And we believe every older adult here should feel like they can participate in that rhythm without hesitation.

If something inside you is saying it might be time to do something different, we are here to listen.
