There are a lot of chiropractors in the Kirkland and Eastside area. So why do patients drive past other offices to come to Renew? Here’s an honest answer.
Dr. Emily Anderson grew up in Kirkland. She studied Global Health and Medical Anthropology at the University of Washington, earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College, and came back home to serve the community she knows. Her own experience with severe sciatic pain in her teens—and the transformation that chiropractic brought—shaped how she practices today.
She doesn’t rush through appointments. She doesn’t push you into treatment packages. She listens, explains, and builds care around your actual life.
This is not a high-volume assembly-line clinic. Every patient gets a care plan designed specifically for them. Your history, your goals, your body—not a template.
Dr. Anderson is trained in 15+ adjusting techniques including low-force instrument adjusting—no cracking required. Patients who were nervous about chiropractic consistently say they were surprised by how gentle and comfortable it was.
Dr. Anderson grew up here. She understands the pace of life on the Eastside—the tech workers, the young families, the active seniors, the athletes. Care is designed for real people with real schedules.
From prenatal care and pediatrics to sports injuries and MVA recovery, we serve a wide range of patients and conditions. Digital X-ray is available in-office for precise diagnosis when needed.
We don’t lock you into long contracts or push unnecessary add-ons. Your care plan is based on what you actually need, and you’re always in control of the pace.
Dr. Anderson combines clinical experience with current research. She uses the McKenzie Method, soft tissue therapy, cupping, and is completing advanced sports chiropractic certification—always expanding what she can offer patients.
“The care here feels human. I didn’t feel like a number. I didn’t feel talked down to. Dr. Emily helped me understand my body in a way no one else ever had. I trust her. And that feels rare.”

We are an out-of-network provider. Many patients find that the quality and personalization of care more than justifies the cost, and HSA/FSA funds can often be used. We’re happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
We hear this often. Dr. Anderson’s approach is notably gentle and communication-focused. She uses techniques that are appropriate for your comfort level and always explains what she’s doing and why. Many patients who were hesitant after previous experiences have found Renew to be a completely different kind of care.
It depends on your condition, your goals, and how your body responds. Dr. Anderson will give you an honest assessment at your first visit and won’t recommend more care than you actually need. You’re never locked into a plan.
